Rates

1st January 2024 to 31st December 2024

Exclusive Use for Groups of up to 6 guests:              ZAR 15 400 per person per night sharing.              Any reservation must be for a minimum of 6 guests accommodated in 3 luxury suites, or the value thereof.

Exclusive use for Groups of 7 to 16 guests:                ZAR 15 400 per person per night sharing for each person up to 16 people accommodated in 8 luxury suites.

Extended Stay Exclusive use for Groups with 12 to 15 guests staying for 4 or more nights:               ZAR 14 900 per person per night sharing.

Extended Stay Exclusive use for Groups of 16 guests staying 4 or more nights:                           ZAR 14 400 per person per night sharing

 

Special rates for last minute bookings for groups of less than 6 guests are available.                      Please enquire at reservations@makanyane.com.

The rates include:

  • Exclusive use of Makanyane Safari Lodge.
  • Luxury accommodation in double thatched suites.
  • Daily breakfast, lunch (or brunch) and dinner as well as afternoon tea.
  • Lunch is included on day of arrival and day of departure if required.
  • Wines, local beers and spirits, soft drinks and mineral waters.
  • Evening and early morning game drives.
  • Game walks accompanied by an experienced ranger if required.
  • Transfers to and from the Eastern airstrip in Madikwe Game Reserve.
  • Wifi (available in the main lodge and each of the suites).
  • Laundry services.
  • Daily Guest Conservation Contribution of R 450 per person per day.
  • Landing Fee of R 280 per person for guests arriving by aircraft.
  • Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance.
  • Tariffs are quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 15% where applicable.

The rates exclude:

  • Specially requested beverages that are not typically stocked by the lodge.
  • Transport to and from the lodge, other than from the Eastern airstrip.
  • Curio Shop purchases.
  • Health and Beauty treatments.
  • Gratuities.

Liability:

Makanyane Safari Lodge and the owners, directors, management or employees of the lodge shall not assume liability for any illness, injury or death to persons visiting the lodge or Madikwe Game Reserve, nor for any other incident of any nature involving any guests while they are on the property nor while travelling to or from the property.

Please note

All bookings are subject to Makanyane Safari Lodge cancellation policy which is:

Cancellation 90 to 60 days prior to arrival:                  25% retained.                                                                  Cancellation 60 days or less prior to arrival or no-show:                                                                                  100% retained.

  • For all bookings, a 25% deposit is required within 7 days of making the reservation. The final balance is is due 60 days prior to arrival. If a booking is made 60 days or less before arrival, the full cost is payable immediately. (A reservation is not secure until the deposit is received).
  • Makanyane Safari Lodge reserves the right to automatically release any accommodation being held where the required deposit has not been received within the stated period.
  • All rates quoted are subject to change without notice. The above rates supersede any rates previously distributed by Makanyane Safari Lodge.
  • Payments can be made by electronic transfer or by credit card. (A credit card authorisation form will be provided).
  • Booking information, such as any special dietary requirements, allergies or medical conditions, guest’s contact number (if possible) and the estimated time of arrival at the lodge needs to be communicated well in advance of arrival at the lodge.
  • Check-in time is at 12pm and check-out time is at 11am.
