Dramatically located on the edge of a ravine, the main lodge overlooks a stream-fed waterhole frequently visited by game.
Under the sweeping thatched roof supported by massive ancient Leadwood trunks, the spacious lounge and dining areas open out onto a wide wooden outdoor deck, hanging over the ravine and waterhole below. A well-stocked bar as well as an outside lounge and dining area are spread across the decks, shaded by overhanging tress and wide umbrellas.
The main lodge also has a curio shop, a library area, an extensive wine cellar and an upstairs den.
Free WiFi is available in each suite.
The resort boasts a sizable, private infinity-edge pool that is the perfect area to enjoy the African sun. The boma, a tree-lined outdoor dining space that’s ideal for enjoying meals by a roaring fire, is conveniently located next to the main lodge. A well equipped gym, a spa, and a lookout point with breathtaking views of the vast plains beyond the resort are all available. Each of the eight opulent, private suites has a view of the Marico River. The stunning bedrooms in each suite have glass walls and provide unobstructed views of the river and surrounding forest. All of the suites have private sundecks, open-fronted lounges, and roomy bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. The entrance of the attached bathroom can be completely exposed to the surrounding bush. Each suite features a separate room and a viewing deck with a magnificent view of the surrounding wilderness.
